Civil Wedding in Amalfi The 16th century Town Hall is situated in the heart of Amalfi, very near to the Cathedral. The Civil Ceremony take place in one of the rooms called Salone Morelli, here there are some remarkable antiques like ancient coins, some nautical instruments and the famous compass that by tradition was invented by Flavio Gioia from Amalfi. A rare copy of the Tabule Amalphitane and an ancient banner and the clothes of the historical Regata are kept here.

The Salone Morelli can welcome 70 guests and it is opened for the Wedding Celebration: - Monday, Wednesday and Friday only in the morning The Civil wedding is celebrated by the mayor or by the civil state officer. The Civil Ceremony will be translated by an interpreter for foreign couples.
