Catholic Wedding in Ravello
There are numerous ancient churches in Ravello where it's possible to marry with full Catholic rites. Most couples chose the equivalent Cathedral in the main village piazza...
Duomo
The Duomo was originally built in 1086 and is dedicated to S. Pantaleone, patron saint of both Ravello & Venice.
The imposing Cathedral has a nave & two aisles and is richly decorated with fine art & statuary, initially endowed by the 13th Century local nobleman, Niccolo Rufolo, who also commissioned the present magnificent marble pulpit from the great sculptor of the day, Bartolomeo.
