On a beautiful June day, Carly and Dennis said ‘I do’ in Ravello at the stunning Belmond Hotel Caruso, one of our amazing Ravello wedding venues.
With our very talented Ravello wedding team, we assisted this charming and fun couple in creating their dream wedding day in Ravello.
On the morning of their Ravello wedding day, Dennis and his groomsmen were at the couple’s Ravello villa, where Ravello wedding photographer JoAnne Dunn photographed the groom and guys getting ready.
Carly and her bridesmaids got ready at the Belmond Hotel Caruso, where our Ravello wedding hair and make-up team pampered and prepared the bridal party, especially the gorgeous bride.
Photographer JoAnne joined the bride and her attendants for photographs of the bridal preparations, as Carly slipped into her stunning, embellished wedding gown in preparation for the ‘first look’.
A ‘first look’ is a wonderful way for a bride and groom to spend a private moment together before their wedding celebrations begin. It is also an amazing opportunity for the wedding photographers to capture the bride and groom’s reactions to seeing one another in their wedding attire, in a preferred setting and to capture some portraits of the bride and groom alone together. Carly and Dennis had their Ravello first look in the Belmond Hotel Caruso then photographer JoAnne escorted the couple around the charming, little town for breathtaking Ravello wedding day photography.
Carly and Dennis’ intimate and personal Ravello wedding ceremony, celebrated by a family member, took place in the Belmond Hotel Caruso’s elegant Arcade, a lovely terraced room with elegant arches and wonderful views. Our Ravello wedding music string duo provided the perfect romantic musical accompaniment to the beautiful ceremony.
After the ceremony the couple received kisses and congratulations as they greeted their guests before we invited the wedding party to enjoy delicious pre-dinner aperitifs.
Carly and Dennis’ delicious Ravello wedding banquet was preceded by wonderful speeches by the bride’s father then the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Guests dined in one of the hotel’s elegant dining halls at tables decorated with elegant white floral arrangements with gold and glass accents. Throughout dinner, a talented pianist provided background music to the wedding party’s celebrations.
After dinner, guests were invited to the hotel’s renowned infinity pool for the cutting of Carly and Dennis’ wedding cake – a beautifully iced and flower-decorated Amalfi lemon sponge cake – and the Ravello wedding after party.
Guests each received the gift of a hand-painted bottle of limoncello, a traditional lemon-flavoured liqueur. Later, as they danced to music provided by our Ravello wedding DJ, guests enjoyed slices of freshly made pizza during a fun pizza party to end the day’s events.
Carly and Dennis performed their first dance, by the infinity pool, atmospherically lit with elegant lanterns and against the spectacular night-time panorama. A dream-like end to a day where we helped this couple to make their Ravello wedding dreams come true!
